Today, orders for Switzerland are prepared on Swiss territory, in Martigny (VS), by a team of Swiss enthusiasts with whom we have been working for several years.

Our DNA

The Protéalpes brand was born in Rhône-Alpes (France), founded by two pharmacists, Aymeric and Guillaume, sports enthusiasts with a passion for nutrition, health, nature and the Alps in general.

These values are very much in evidence in Switzerland too, and Protéalpes products have been in demand in the country ever since they were launched in 2021.

Although geographically close, the political border has hampered development and easy access to products for our Swiss customers. Over the last few years, we have been able to count on a rewarding collaboration with a passionate former Swiss customer to gradually set up a 100% integrated system in Switzerland.

Today, 100% of our shipments to Switzerland, whether for business or private customers, are sent from our in-house stocks in Martigny, managed by our colleague Stéphane Rinaldi.

The system is perfectly suited to the needs of Swiss athletes: payment in CHF, specific payment solutions, no customs clearance on receipt, and fast delivery thanks to its domestic nature. But beyond simply an "optimized" system, we were also looking to create local business and jobs in an economic zone and in a neighboring Alpine country where we operate. This development format, which is directly integrated into an area of activity and has a positive effect on it, makes a lot of sense to us.

To date (03/06), we have seen strong growth in our business in the region and need to adapt our logistics system.
In order to continue to guarantee fast and high-quality deliveries, we are currently in the process of relocating our premises. This transition may cause slight delays compared to our usual delivery times.

Stéphane Rinaldi, based in the heart of the Valais Alps, is passionate about alpine disciplines such as trail running, climbing and ski touring. He has also established himself in the world of fitness as a personal trainer.
Drawing on this dual expertise, he has developed his own concept of group classes, combining mobility and endurance, to optimize overall performance, particularly in mountain sports.

He's convinced that excellent nutrition and proper recovery are the key to cultivating his passion for sport.

It is also one of Protéalpes' first Swiss customers. Since our initial exchanges in 2022, we have built an increasingly close collaboration based on mutual trust.
Today, it is responsible for all shipments within Switzerland. He is also responsible for product storage in Martigny, and is the local sanitary referent in the eyes of the Swiss authorities.

Nevertheless, Protéalpes products are still designed and manufactured in Rhône-Alpes by Protéalpes, then shipped to Martigny by secure internal transport. Customer service also remains the same as for any other customer in the rest of Europe, i.e. managed in-house by the Protéalpes customer relations team.

Finally, from the point of view of a Swiss customer, nothing changes in terms of the quality of the Protéalpes offering, whether in terms of products or customer service.

Pricing policy

Switzerland

We've been careful to keep the same overall prices as we originally charged when shipping direct to Switzerland from France. The product price has risen slightly, but shipping costs have fallen sharply.

We have simply increased the product price, since we can no longer benefit from duty-free sales on international exports, and have to take into account customs clearance and transport costs "a priori", before availability on Swiss stock.

On the other hand, we have a much more attractive shipping policy for Swiss customers than in the past. Indeed, shipping costs are CHF 8 for orders under CHF 65, and free for orders over CHF 65.
